What ages can participate in the Listening Ears NYC classes?
Our classes are offered to pre-school children 30 months to 5 year olds. Lil’ Bunnies is open to children 30 months to 3 year olds. Cottontails is open to children 3-4 and Hoppers is open to children 4-5 years old.

How many children are enrolled in each class?
We believe that small groups are important to give your child the individualized attention they deserve. Maximum enrollment is limited to 10 participants which will allow a 5:1 ratio. *A minimum of 6 participants per session is required.

Does my child need a speech language evaluation to participate?
No, Listening Ears NYC is a unique language enrichment program which is offered to children with and without special needs. All children will learn novel concepts and be challenged to their learning abilities.

Are parents involved in the learning process?
Yes, parent communication is very important to us at Listening Ears NYC. You will be sent home weekly progress notes. In addition, you will receive weekly activities (i.e. books, recommendations for outings) to reinforce learned concepts in your child’s natural environments.

How long is the program? 
The language enrichment program will take place for 6 weeks. Your child may participate once per week in an appropriate group.
